Little Walsingham

Anglican and catholic shrines surrounded by a wealth of history. A very good farm shop and village shop. Bistro "The Norfolk Riddle" with good fish and chips plus restaurant attached serving much local produce.. The Abbey grounds are also worth a visit, famed for its "Snowdrop Walk" in late Jan.

Binham

Very pretty village just off the coast. Good pub with its own micro brewery, butchers and one of the best village shops in the area. Abbey well worth a visit, sometimes hosts music events in the summer.

Blakeney

Very popular village, narrow streets but good parking on quay but make sure you check the tides!. Two pubs and two hotels. Dingy park and launching slipways. Good at any stage of the tide, sand for kids and good walks along sea wall to Cley or Morston.

Cley next the Sea

Great walks either along the sea wall to Blakeney village or the on the beach towards Blakeney Point. Cley marshes are world renown for migrating birds. Superb church and windmill. Very good picnic shop on the corner plus pottery and smokehouse.

Holt

Georgian market town. Plenty of upmarket shopping in a very pretty town. Good eating places and a variety of antique shops to suit most pockets.

Wells next the Sea

Old fashioned yet increasingly classy sea side town. Busy quay with plenty to see, pleasure and small commercial fishing vessels. Lifeboat station, great beach and good pubs and hotel. Good place for small chaildren, rock shops etc

Morston

Ferries to the seals on Blakeny Point and good walks along the sea wall to Blakeney. Many small craft in the summer.

Siffkey

Great pub and access to the salt marshes. Good any time of year and if you study a tide table, the possibility of a long walk out to the sand and sea.
